Cinderella Lantern / Lamparina Cinderela

This is my new heaven: lanterns. You can use your imagination (and stamps, of course!!) and make them in whichever motive you need. It's great for Christmas and its lovely snowy trees, but really? it's limitless. Here is a tutorial for you, it's quite easy to make. The Cinderella one will be given to my dear Goddaughter Helena.

Estou agora com mania de fazer essas lamparinas de papel. Dá para usar carimbos de todos os tipos e são lindas para o Natal e suas árvores secas, Papai Noel, o que quiser. A de Cinderela será um presente para minha afilhada Helena. Cinderela, claro!!! Elas são bem fáceis de fazer, aqui está o passo a passo. Se tiver dúvidas, deixe comentários.

TUTORIAL / PASSO A PASSO

1. Cut a piece of vellum 10-1/2 in by 4-3/4 in. Tape the sides so that it won't move while you stamp. Stamp your scenery and color it. I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink with Copic markers because they allow you to color without smearing. StazOn is NOT good. Tip: be very careful not to touch the outline because vellum is tricky.

1. Corte um pedaço de papel vegetal 26-1/2 cm por 12 cm. Coloque fita nos lados para que o papel não mexa. Carimbe o que você quiser e use hidrocor para colorir. A tinta preta do carimbo que uso é da marca Memento, chama-se Tuxedo Black, ela não mancha, mas tenha muito cuidado para não tocar as linhas. Mal não faz  :)

2. Cut the top with a Border Punch of your choice and glue a strip of double-sided tape on one of the sides. Then just glue the sides and you're done!! Use a battery-operated tealight for the lantern effect.

2. Corte a parte de cima com um furador de borda contínua, o que você tiver. Depois cole uma tira de fita dupla face e cole as pontas. Pronto! Para a luz use uma velinha daquelas que vêm com pilha.
