Vintage Wooden Box / Caixa Vintage MDF

When you take a plain wooden box there are so many possibilities that I sometimes get stuck. This one was a bit like this. I had a 12 x 12 paper pad by Graphic 45 called Gilded Lily (gorgeous) but didn't know what to do with it. So I tried something simple: I cut the main image using Spellbinders Classic Ovals dies to be my focal point, painted the box (details were made using stencils) and glued a matching paper along the sides. And yes, pearls!! lots of them... :)

Às vezes eu tenho tantas ideias quando inicio a decoração de uma caixa MDF que emperro :) Isso aconteceu com essa caixa. Eu sabia que queria usar o papel "Gilded Lily" da empresa Graphic 45 (são LINDOS), mas o que fazer com o resto? Optei por algo menos trabalhoso, usando papel nos lados, pintando a caixa dentro (usei stencil nos lados) e aqui está o resultado. Ah!! e pérolas, muitas..., afinal de contas, vintage pede pérola, né?  :)

Versatile box / Caixinha Versátil

This box is quite easy to make. For these I used the Stampin' UP Baker's Box Thinlits Dies, a new product that just came out. If you want to see how it works, they have a tutorial here. Just use your imagination run wild, you can change the decoration and the box will be totally different.

Coffee tray / Bandeja café

This tray is very versatile, I bought it in wood and you can make any motive you want. I chose coffee because I love to use the beans as decoration. It's pretty large, 16 x 11,5 inches. It fits around 6 medium-sized mugs.

Essa bandeja vem crua em madeira e você pode usar qualquer tipo de decoração. Optei pelo café porque gosto de usar os grãos nos lados, ficam lindos. Seu tamanho é 42 x 29 cm, bem grande, dá para umas 6 xícaras de café.

Cards and tags kit / Kit de cartões e etiquetas

This kit comes complete with regular sized cards, 3x3 in and gift tags, all enclosed in this beautiful box. The stamp set used here was Mixed Bunch, by Stampin' UP.

Esse kit é completo. Vem com cartões pequenos e grandes, além de etiquetas para presentes. Usei os carimbos Mixed Bunch, da Stampin' UP.

Flower cards / Cartões floridos

Flowers make the most beautiful paper crafts. This kit has 4 cards with matching envelopes. For this I used the Flower Patch stamp set by Stampin' Up. You can buy it here.

My sis and butterflies / Minha irmã e as borboletas

We love birds and butterflies in our family, particularly, my sister Eveline. I made this shadowbox for her as a present for her new home. She is the little girl.

Na minha família a gente adora passarinhos e borboletas, mais ainda minha irmã Eveline. Fiz essa caixinha miniatura para ela de presente pra casa nova. A foto é dela pequena.

French style tray / Bandeja francesa

I absolutely love the distressed look of patina. This tray was plain wood: I applied a coat of dark blue underneath and white over it, then sanded it to give it an old look. The image was applied using the image transfer technique, you can see how to do it here with Tracy Pendergast.

Eu adoro usar a técnica de pátina nos meus objetos. Essa bandeja foi feita com camada de azul escuro embaixo e branco em cima, depois eu lixei par dar esse acabamento. Golden Placemats / Suplats Dourados

Placemats are great to add a touch to your table setting. I made these for my boyfriend who just moved into a new apartment. Since his plates have tiny golden dots and stripes, I decided to paint these wooden placemats and added 3 different stamps, so that he would have options for shorter parties.

Suplats são objetos que dão requinte à mesa, um daqueles detalhes que fazem a diferença. Fiz esses em MDF para meu namorado que acaba de mudar para um apartamento novo. Como os pratos têm listas e detalhes dourados, optei por essa cor e acrescentei 3 tipos de carimbos diferentes.
