Striped background / Fundo de tiras

I have learned this tutorial from Jennifer McGuire, if you want to see her video, click here. It helps you use your scraps and build backgrounds in whichever colors you want. Quite simple - a bit time consuming -, and great fun! First look at the card I made with the panel.

Aprendi essa técnica com Jennifer McGuire, se quiser ver o vídeo dela, clique aqui (em inglês). Essa técnica te permite criar um fundo da cor que quiser, em tirinhas, é simples e divertido. Primeiro, o cartão que fiz com o papel.

STEP 1 / PASSO 1

Cut stripes in whichever width you desire using your scrap paper. Cut a background panel and fill it up with glue (I used a glue stick, liquid is not the best option because it can get messy).

Corte o papel em tirinhas na largura desejada e cole em um pedaço de papel. Use cola seca, eu utilizei bastão porque líquida vai molhar o papel demais.

STEP 2 / PASSO 2

Start gluing the stripes, I prefer to start from the middle, diagonally, but you can do it in any direction. Then, cut the excess paper and you're done!

Comece colando no centro, fica mais fácil de ajustar as cores. Eu fiz na diagonal, mas nada impede que seja horizontal ou vertical, a seu gosto. Depois corte o excesso e seu painel está pronto!
