Vintage Box tutorial / Passo a passo caixa vintage

There are so many possibilities when it comes to paper boxes, so I decided to try something different and added a die-cut lid to a regular rectangular box. It can be applied to whichever size you want provided that you have a die big enough.

Decidi fugir da caixa retangular normal e acrescentei um papel cortado na tampa e na parte debaixo, mudou completamente a caixinha. Você pode usar esse passo a passo para qualquer tamanho.

TUTORIAL / PASSO A PASSO

1. The first thing you do is cut the top and bottom parts so that you can measure what size your box will be. Embellish it as you wish, here I used the Stampin' UP Papaya Collage stamp set, I love it!!! The die I used was Fancy Labels, by Sizzix (I cut using the cuttlebug).

1. A primeira coisa a fazer é cortar as partes de cima de debaixo, assim você consegue saber que tamanho sua caixa pode ter. Nessa caixa eu usei um carimbo americano da marca Stampin' Up chamado Papaya Collage.

2. This box measures 2 3/4 x 2 1/4 x 1 1/2 inches.  To make it cut a paper 5 3/4 x 5 1/4 inches. Score on 1 1/2 inch mark and don't forget to make it 1/8 in shorter for the lid or it won't close.

2. O tamanho dessa caixa (o retângulo) é 2 3/4 x 2 1/4 x 1 1/2 polegadas. Para montar a caixa, corte um papel com 5 3/4 x 5 1/4 polegadas. Cada uma das quatro marcas que aparecem aqui tem 1 1/2 polegadas, que é a altura da caixa. Não esqueça que a tampa será marcada 1/8 polegada a menos, ou não fechará.

3. Now cut the paper as seen bellow and glue the little squares in order to close the box.

3. Agora corte onde está indicado e cole para montar a caixa.

4. Last thing to do is to glue the lid and bottom parts and your box is done!!

4. A última coisa a fazer é colar a tampa e a parte debaixo. Caixa pronta!!
